Job Description

iRely is looking for a Commodity/ Energy Trade and Risk Management Sales Engineer (CTRM/ETRM) with experience in buying, trading or procurement. This role requires understanding the customer environment and work flow, working with the customer to develop an optimal solution, and articulating the iRely solution technical value proposition.

The CTRM/ETRM Sales Engineer is responsible for building customer trust in iRely solutions, which results in customer success in the post-sale. The CTRM/ETRM Sales Engineer leads the technical pre-sales relationship, proposes technical architectures, demonstrates the product, highlights product benefits, anticipates concerns, and offers creative solutions.

iRely’s CTRM/ETRM Sales Engineer must be have technical understanding and be a skilled relationship builder. They are comfortable showing an engaging communications experience to a business owner or sketching out an API flow on a whiteboard with a customer’s IT team member.

Major Responsibilities

You will run workshops with business users to uncover gaps and opportunities, define the projected benefits and present the outcomes to all stakeholders.

You will create customized demonstrations and will have the opportunity to tell the story that showcases the solution and its benefits.

You will stay up to date on iRely products and industry best practices that will allow you to continue to advise the customer through the implementation process to ensure value.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in buying, trading or procurement
  • 5+years of CTRM or Broker system utilization
  • Experience or using, implementing or trained in one or more of the following software
  1. Allegro
  2. Molecule
  3. Openlink
  4. AspectCTRM
  5. Commodity XL,
  6. Fusion CTRM
  7. EKA software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field with technical understanding
  • Ability to travel to prospect and customer sites for in-person presentations
